I’m Still Hanging Out

I know many of you have communicated to me that you are missing my blogs, and I really appreciate your dedication to my writing. I have so many new stories to share, but I haven’t felt inspired to share them just yet. However, I still have them in my notes to share at a later date when I’m feeling the times right.
Life has been tricky, but things are starting to come together. I’ve had so much support, and things will get better for me soon.
Some of you have thought I’ve been on hiatus, but this couldn’t be further from the truth. It just so happened that many things happened at once, such as my social media no longer being active and my lack of posting on my blog.
I’m still around and, once life frees up for me, I’ll have more time to dedicate to the things that I love and the dreams that I have. I can’t wait to share it with all of you.
I’m giving myself about six months until things are stabilized. I really appreciate all of you not giving up on me and being so kind and patient during this unexpected time.
Besides this update, I wanted to share something meaningful to me.
I was at the gym today and I saw someone who always showed incredible kindness to my family member who passed away, especially when they were sick. This person is a pharmacist, and he was consistently patient with my family member. I approached him and thanked him, telling him I will never forget what he did and noticing how kind he always was.
He told me that it’s his job. I corrected him and told him that his job is to help, but kindness and patience are not always a requirement. I told him I appreciated that he always went the extra mile to spend time to listen to my family member, talk to him and listen to what they had to say, even if my family member could get on someone’s nerves or interfere when they were busy.
I read a quote: People won’t always remember what you do, but they will always remember how you made them feel, and this could not be further from the truth.
Although we need money and physical things, none of that is meaningful in the way that kindness is. None of that will leave you feeling happy and fulfilled.
Thank you to everyone who has shown kindness to me during this challenging and life-changing experience.
I’m not going anywhere, and I’ll be back to writing as soon as I possibly can.
🤍
