Christmas In July

Christmas came early this year for me. I’m finally getting my life back.
And it seems like for my lovely readers too as time frees up on my end to share the many stories I’ve been experiencing since I’ve taken a break from writing weekly. It seems like I now have more time to dedicate to writing my blogs once again.
I know I’ve been away from posting blogs lately due to circumstances in my life that I never anticipated.
However, all bad things eventually come to an end and all good things come from these types of experiences. The control that you have is not what happened but rather how you handle it, take your control back and use it for good.
For those of you that already know, I’ve experienced an immense amount of personal growth in these few short months. Not only growth that I wouldn’t have learned otherwise (and that I didn’t ask for), but also growth in other aspects related to this event and learning new skills - things that I’ve always wanted to learn but never gave myself enough time to pursue these interests. This has been my self-care and saving grace through this all.
And this is what life is truly about.
Moments, experiences, growth, helping others and being surrounded by people that you care about.
Sure, we need money. But we don’t need it to the excess. And we certainly don’t need it by hurting and exploiting others.
Someone said to me, “the pigs will always get slaughtered”. This week is the start of the end - it is my Christmas in July and the beginning of the end of the reign of terror these individuals have inflicted on innocent people in society. I have a strong moral compass and I struggle to understand how these types of people sleep at night. But these types of people will never influence me to believe everyone in the world is like them - the people who exploit the vulnerable for personal gain gives me the motivation to ensure they’re accountable to their actions.
But without going into too much detail, this forced exponential growth has reminded me of the opportunities and gifts I’ve given to people. A safe place to express themselves, to explore, and even to be a confidant to share secrets that they’ve held back from others with fear of judgment. Heck, I’ve even had someone share their secrets today that they’ve never shared with anyone in their 70+ years on earth. Recognizing their mortality had taken recent precedence in their journey towards self exploration. I am grateful to be the one they chose to feel safe with - and this is only the beginning of their adventure.
They told me today that I had a gift and they recognized the positive impact that I do have on others. It almost brought me to tears because for someone to recognize these aspects and truly understand my good intentions is so validating. And the fact that they were conveying that this was a reflection of how they felt about me was also touching.
I write my blogs to give people a sense of who I am and what time shared with me looks like. In addition, I write my blogs to hopefully reach others around the world beyond the circle of people that I meet in person. I hope to help others with their own self exploration to live a better life, and to be a better person in their everyday world. I hope to normalize the feelings that they may have and to talk about the rawness of sexuality while connecting it to the underlying psychological components of desire, which may look different on the outside for everyone, but may share the same underlying positive impact from recognizing and fulfilling the need for these outlets.
I hope my previous and future blogs bring you your own Christmas in July. 💚

I had actually just checked your site earlier this week, wondering if the emails about your blog had been getting lost. Happy to hear that whatever has been happening on your end is improving.
If your blog postings end up being monthly, or return to weekly, or stay essentially random, its all okay.
